WANTED: WORDPRESS WEBSITE SUPPORT POSITION

THE OPPORTUNITY
RadiateWP is a service owned by FreeUp Web Studio, LLC that provides maintenance and support for WordPress websites. As the primary support member, you would be in charge of monitoring the support board and responding to tickets as well as elevating tickets to a developer when needed. This person will have direct contact with clients and will also conduct quality audits of websites to assess performance and make suggestions for ongoing improvement.

- Contract position. Hours will be between 20 to 25 hours per week with the possibility of growth.
This position offers flexibility, however it is important that 3 to 4 hours of every day be spent during normal daytime work hours to allow for the response to client needs. While this position is not an “on-call” position, it requires the ability to take action (even if it is a brief response) on a new support ticket within 2 to 4 hours during business hours.
Job Responsibilities
As a Support Professional, you will serve as the primary contact for clients regarding their website needs. Your organization and oversight of each project will be crucial to the project’s success. You will be in charge of:
- Managing support tickets in a reasonable amount of time with a level of professionalism that conveys our continual concern for the client and their business.
Support tickets can lead into “mini-projects” and you will be in charge of managing these projects as they come along. - Manage the ongoing maintenance updates of all sites on a set schedule.
Manage collection of content, website assets and communication with the client.
Meeting prep, agenda, and follow-up as needed. - Review all support tickets in the support queue daily with the goal of closing tickets when possible.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and/or experience working as part of a remote team
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, with a methodical approach to all tasks
- Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Availability to communicate and conduct meetings with clients during a time convenient for the client (most often during daytime hours)
- Advanced WordPress Knowledge
- Familiarity in working with Staging and Production Environments
- A strong knowledge of Gravity Forms
- A solid understanding of Custom Post Types
- Ability and experience working with WooCommerce.
- General knowledge of ecommerce for WordPress.
- Ability to systematically and effectively troubleshoot site issues.
Additional Experience a Plus
- Experience with Asana Project Management Tool
- Experience using Help Scout

Compensation
Rate – The hourly rate for 20 to 25 hours is $25 – $45 depending on skills and experience.
